Maintain Office Productivity in The Summer
No one likes to work in the summer. Unfortunately, it is a reality that we all have to face. Let us here at DataTech help you remain productive during the summer, whether it’s working from home or in one of our office spaces. Follow these simple tips to remain productive.
Keep Productive in The Summer
Do The Most Important Work in The Morning
Create your morning to-do list, get organized, and handle your most important tasks during this time. The caffeine is most likely already kicking in, and knocking off your most daunting tasks early in the morning will leave you no room for procrastination.
Take a Break
Whether it is a vacation or a short break, take it. Getting some time to relax will create motivation when you go back to work. This is especially important if you are working from home, as it breakups mundane tasks. You might not get to go very far right now, but anywhere is better than staying cooped up.
Lose Distractions
One of the biggest hurdles to your productivity is the smartphone on your office desk. Unless it’s an important phone call, keep your cellphone out of sight. Studies have shown that dopamine responses in the brain cause us to engage in pleasure-seeking behavior as it relates to phone usage – resulting in constantly checking Instagram, Facebook, and text messages frequently while at work. We tend to multitask so much with our cellphones, that it might be killing our productivity at work.
Keep Hydrated
Staying hydrated is proven to increase focus and productivity, so get those water bottles out and keep them filled. Remember that caffeine dehydrates you, so in between cups hydrate with good old H20.
At DataTech we have professional office spaces available. These offices will definitely increase your productivity.
